The Mid Michigan Family Theatre proudly announces it next production of Aladdin and His Wonderful Lamp based on the popular children’s story from the Tales of the Arabian Nights.
Aladdin and His Wonderful Lamp
Come join us as we retell the glorious story of Aladdin and His Magical Lamp. See Aladdin, Juwan Hill outwit the evil magician, JR Udvadia to win the hand of the Princess Betrie Batour, Natalie Vogel. The other characters that appear in the story include the Sultan, George Berhorn, his advisor, Abu Abat, Destiny Dewey, the leader of the processions, Drew Avalos, the Genie of the Ring, Liberty Dewey, the Genie of the Lamp, Janan Muhammad, Aladdin’s mother, Brooke Niska, and Aladdin’s friends Sharah, Carlie Smith, and Farah, Karhynn Thomas. The play will also present members of the Habibi Dancers.
The play is directed by Bill Gordon and he is assisted by Nicole Clyne. The play runs for three shows only. On Friday, September 27 there will be a show for schools and home school students at 10:00. There will also be matinee shows for the general public at 3:00 on Saturday and Sunday. Shows are at the Schmidt Community Center located at 5825 Wise Road. Lansing, Michigan. Ticket prices for the school show are $3.00 for students and free for teachers. The price for all tickets for Saturday and Sunday are $5.00 for everyone.
