Eric ‘RicStar’ Winter Music Therapy Camp
The Eric ‘RicStar' Winter Music Therapy Camp at MSU Community Music School is a day camp that provides opportunities for musical expression, enjoyment, and interaction for all persons with special needs and their siblings. Sessions include song writing, rock ‘n’ roll combo, silly sing-along, xylophones, percussion, movement, improvisation, and more. All ages. Scholarships available so that everyone can participate.

St. Johns Area Children's Choir
Children's Choir Registering for Spring Session
The St. Johns Area Children's Choir is registering members for the spring session. All children in grades 3 - 5 who like to sing are invited to join. Singers will be introduced to the basics of singing including healthy vocal production, music literacy, and performance skills that include proper posture, focus, and discipline. Singers will explore repertoire from various styles in a fun and friendly environment. No audition is required.
The SJACC rehearses on Tuesday nights from 6:30 to 7:30 p.m. in the St. Johns Middle School choir room, 900 Townsend Road. The spring session will run from March 4 through May 20. The session will end with a concert performance on May 20, in conjunction with the SJMS and SJHS choirs, which are under the direction of Nichole Eller. The cost is $50 per member. Registration for the session will be held in the St Johns Middle School choir/orchestra room on Tuesday, February 25 from 6:30 pm – 7:00 pm.
St. Johns resident, Ellen Hoard, directs the choir, Mrs. Hoard taught elementary music for the Grand Ledge Public Schools for 26 years. Jenny Wilcox is the accompanist.
